Environmentalists are urging the U.S. Supreme Court to revisit a 2019 order that allowed border wall construction to proceed despite lower court decisions against the Trump administration.
The Sierra Club and Southern Border Communities Coalition on Thursday argued that the high court’s order is robbing them of a fair opportunity for judicial relief because government officials “have spent the past year rushing construction of a border wall that Congress denied and that multiple courts have all found unlawful.”
